Our lavishly refurbished WERTSCHÄTZER I right in the middle of the city centre brings centuries of history to life. This building, which today delights our guests with its fresh and modern interior, dates back to the 17th century.

A total of nine apartments of different sizes and layouts are available on the upper three floors of the building (access via Karlstrasse 3a). No apartment is like the other. Each of them has its own unique charm. But our emphasis is always on ensuring that you feel at home. At the very least.

There is a parking space at the entrnce the building for loading and unloading. To park your car for an extended period, you can either use the Centrum car park directly opposite the hotel entrance or we can offer you special parking permits for the city of Detmold at our reception. Please just ask us about that.

The WERTSCHÄTZER II, with its four cosy apartments, is located in the middle of Detmold's pedestrian zone and is only a few steps away from the market square (Marktplatz). Even though this beautiful building, built in 1913, is located in a busy setting, the apartments are quiet. For you, that means being able to enjoy an exciting symbiosis of lively events and soothing relaxation. Just the way you want it.

A washing machine and tumble dryer are available to all guests in the building's basement.

You can reach all of the sights in Detmold's city centre on foot from here. If you like, you can leave your car in the car park in front of the building for a small extra charge – bus stops, the train station, and a taxi stand are in the immediate vicinity.

If you are travelling with a larger group, the top floor is a good choice. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available to all guests in the building's basement.
